Looking at this made me think about my life story
The routine announcement was a stimulus to thinking about writing something. Once you start to think you have material so it would be useful to start writing too!
and whether I should write something about it. My initial thoughts were that it probably wouldn’t be very interesting but after thinking about it a bit more I concluded that surely everyone is interesting in some way or other. In fact I now remember saying to someone the other day, when she mentioned to me that Jordan had published the third volume of her biography (the person I was speaking to that is, not Jordan, but I digress), that I would rather read about the old guy sitting nursing his pint in the corner of the pub than read about Jordan’s life because it would almost certainly be far more interesting.
Biography or life stories are not everyone’s cup of tea but it might be worth thinking up a fictitious one. Why not make up a new life for yourself and write it?
