    Getting Started
    19/02/08

Writing is a skill that can be learned with practice. In order to develop the skill you need to get into the habit of writing regularly but you also need to think about writing too.

Try to write something every day even if it’s just a few thoughts about your day such as:

What was good about today and why was it good?

Was there anything odd or funny that happened today?

Did you read something interesting today?

Did you meet anyone today (you could describe them)?

Carry a small notebook about with you and write down thoughts and/or observations when you get some time to yourself. Over coffee or while you are having lunch perhaps.

When you have some writing to work with type it into your area on the TVCW site to try it out.

Try to produce as many words as you can. They can be about different things the main objective is to get into the habit of writing regularly.
